Our Top 20 Current Favorite Songs

Who can start their day without listening to a few good jams? Everyone has a secret playlist that they love to share with others and sprinkle some inspiration of beat. So this is ours - our top 20 favorite songs. Check out these cool songs.

1. Shape of you - Ed Sheeran

Come on now; follow my lead! This just has to be number 1 on everyone's playlist. How can you not be hung up to this song? The song instantly got famous and now you can hear it playing everywhere you go. But did you know that during an interview with BBC Radio the singer said that this song is meant for a couple of people. Hmm, wondering who they might be.

2. I don't wanna live forever - Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift

After the crazy hype that came with ‘love me like you do’ this was surely going to be one of the top fave songs. Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift's voice goes together like waffles and fried chicken. Now, I honestly don't want to live forever cause I know I'll be living in vain.

3. Chained to the rhythm - Katy Perry

Aren't you lonely? Up there in utopia. Well I hope not! This song will definitely make you want to leave utopia and dance on to it’s off the hook beat. *secretly wishing to have found those disco balls and headphone jacks hidden worldwide before the songs release, sigh*.

4. Paris - Chainsmokers

If we go down then we go down together. Yup, this song is the kind of song that makes you want to cry and sing along at the same time.

5. Let me love you - DJ Snake and Justin Bieber

I'm surely not going to give up if it's JB asking me not to. Was I the only one who got disappointed when it was revealed in the end that the two figures in the music video were actually two males who were a part of a video simulation with virtual reality devices on? Sighs!

6. It ain't me - Selena Gomez and DJ Kygo

In this song we find Gomez losing her patience at her boyfriend who goes out drinking every night. Tamposi stated that he's very proud of this song because it came together so well. Selena was quick to understand its emotional side. It portrays how a society puts women under pressure that they need to be in a relationship to be validated.

7. Bad things - Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello

Isn't Camila’s voice just angelic? How good they sound together! Did you know the collab was pretty hard to do because it was a long distance thing, but after they recorded it MGK went to see Fifth Harmony perform live and he was swoon by Camila’s performance?

8. Who run the world - Beyonce

Who run the world? Girls! This one has me feeling all sorts of happy. The music video just makes us go nuts. Who can dance so perfectly like that? Only Queen B fellas. Only Queen B. Btw, where's the women tribe that Beyonce rules over? We would do anything to be a part of it.

9. Mercy - Shawn Mendes

Dear Shawn, will you please have mercy on my heart? Even though it sounds like it's about a girl but Mendes likes to picture it as pleading for mercy for his career type of thing.

10. I don't wanna know - Maroon5 and Kendrick Lamar

Every place I go reminds me of you. This song basically revolves around how you don't wanna know what your ex is up to. Lamar has his 15 seconds of rap in which he's trying to tell his former lover what she has been missing. I don't know about you but Maroon5 songs make me happy.

11. No promises - Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato

Promise me no promises. The singers clearly don't wan to hear your promises. We promise you that you'll love this collaboration. It's got everything a good song needs. A romantic theme, a fun build and a catchy hook. There are definitely not going to be any promises made here.

12. Scars to your beautiful  - Alessia Cara

No scars to your beautiful; we're stars and we're beautiful. We are all beautiful in our own way and this song gives us a boost of the confidence we need. Our scars aren't hideous and there is absolutely nothing to hide.

13. Million Reasons - Lady Gaga

You're giving me a million reasons to let you go. Even Lady Gaga gets tired and has to let people go. That's what this song is about. If I were you Lady Gaga, I would let go too.

14. Greenlight – Lorde

Did it frighten you, how we kissed when we danced on the light up floor? This is exactly what one feels when they hear this song. As soon as the music starts we just want to get our body up on the dance floor!

15. Love on the brain – Rihanna

This is one of our favorite fifty shades darker song (obviously after I don't wanna live forever) Rihanna has us all on the edge with this amazing song.

16. Closer - The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey

This song never gets old; not for us. It's been played on repeat by every person I know. Sources tell us that Drew had all his ex girls on his mind when he wrote this. This is not supposed to be a love song though. But it still makes us all go back down memory lane

17. Hide away - Daya

Where do the good boys go to hide away? We all hope we knew the answer to this. This song makes me want to dance with my girls. It has an amazing beat and I'm sure you'll be dancing to it too.

18. In the name of love - Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha

Would you trust me when you're jumping from the heights? Will you fall in the name of love? No I won't. I don't think anybody will. Or will they? The beat to this song makes you want to stand up on your bed and dance like crazy. But just don't fall.

19. Overnight - Jake Miller

If Jake Miller asks me, then we can surely fix it overnight. But I wonder who he's referring to in this song? I think we should all take a moment to appreciate Miller for finally starting to sing.

20. All we know - The Chainsmokers and Phoebe Ryan

I'll go everywhere you go. Maybe because I don't wanna let go! Which is exactly what this song is about! As the lyrics go ‘We’re falling apart still we hold together.’ There's something about it that makes me feel good. This is personally my getaway song.

And there you have it; our list of top 20 songs! How many of these do you love?
